Engine Rebuild
Forged everything!
My car is getting up there in mileage. Right now it is at 110,000 miles. This is mainly because all of the major tracks and raceways I go to are 2+ hours away unfortunately.
That's the price I pay for literally living on the coast instead of inland. Well eventually all good things must come to an end, especially engines.
It is for this reason that I want to buy the exact same engine but rebuild it. Not just any rebuild though. I'm talking forged EVERYTHING. There is a downside to this though.
This is going to cost a little over $6,000. That'll be for the engine, parts, and tools.
Performance Parts
Bolt-ons and flex fuel.
Aside from the engine and its internals, I want to add some performance modifications. Not just for power either. I'm looking at ensuring that my engine doesn't
experience heatsoak. The stock intercooler on the Audi A4 B9 is disgustingly small. While it does the trick for everything up below a Stage 2 tune, it is still a huge
choke point. It's not that hard to replace either. My plan is to replace the stock one with Integrated Engineering's FDS Intercooler along with changing to ECS Tuning's aluminum charge pipe set.
Let's not stray to far away from power though. Now with all that extra cooling we can add more power. The easiest thing to do is flash your ECU to Stage 2 tune. You can do this

High speeds and even higher cliffs.
