November 4th, 2025: Bust the rust.
In the first picture it doesn't look like a whole bunch of rust but let me assure you that
it is present. Now the good news is that it hasn't eaten through the metal so no welding will have
to be done. All the metal needs is a good wire brushing which as you can see in picture two when I add
it it'll look loads better and getting prepped for paint.
What I was thinking about doing was a gloss
pearl white. Then when I get new tires for it (the ones it came with has a slow leak), I'll either get
them in black or paint them gloss black. By the end this thing is going to look very pretty. Especially
with the black roll cage that isn't rusty at all.
For the engine I'm going to go with a Harbor Frieght
Predator 212 EPA, non-hemi. We'll talk performance once it get's rolling. There are other things I have
to address before we can try adding more power like converting this to a RWD instead of a one-wheel drive.
